I’ve seen it time and time again. A set of twins will commonly consist of a calm, easy going baby and a baby that demands more than his fair share of your time. This causes guilt because you don’t get to spend as much time with his sibling. Fussiness will normally reach it’s peak at 6wks and be mostly gone by 3 months.
Just after reaching the 5wk mark, my more demanding baby became very demanding. He wanted to be held ALL DAY. Thank goodness for babywearing! At the same time, he went from pooping 1-2x day to once every other day. Someone at a Le Leche League meeting recommended Biogaia, and I found it at Walgreens. Just 2 days later he was back on his normal pooping schedule and the fussiness decreased. Plus we discovered the wonder that is Gripe Water.
He is still my more demanding baby, and that’s ok. He’s also the one that smiles more, and that absolutely makes up for it every day.
Babywearing = Sanity
